Message from the President:<\/strong><\/p>\n

At our meeting on June 11, 2026,<\/strong> new<\/strong> PPCC officers were elected by acclamation.\u00a0<\/strong> Taking their seats as of July 1, 2026, will be:\u00a0 President Allison Holdorff Polhill; Vice-President Reza Akef; Treasurer Daphne Gronich; Secretary Caroline Nick.\u00a0 We look forward to working with these amazing new leaders . . . while the Board expresses gratitude for the selfless service of the current officers during this unprecedented time in our history.<\/p>\n

Important Board consideration of extensive proposed comments on AECOM’s draft Long Term Recovery Plan (LTRP) — <\/strong>recommended by CRCC, the PPCC Land Use and Infrastructure Committees, and participating Advisory Task Forces (ATFs) — also took place at the June 11th meeting. The Board unanimously approved all of the proposed comments; a letter submitting the comments on behalf of PPCC will soon be forthcoming.<\/p>\n

The Board additionally approved several grants recommended by the Grants Committee: <\/strong>to the BID, PPTFH, Canyon Elementary, griefHaven and Tahitian Terrace Radio.\u00a0 See the Committee Page<\/a>\u00a0for more information.\u00a0 A proposed grant to Firesafe Palisades was postponed to the August PPCC meeting.<\/p>\n

On June 25th,<\/strong> we’ll thank the current \/ outgoing officers for their outstanding service over the past two years. We’ll also have a presentation by LADWP on water infrastructure in the Palisades!\u00a0<\/strong> Please submit any questions you have on this topic to the PPCC Infrastructure Committee no later than 11pm on\u00a06\/22\/26<\/strong>, HERE<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
